Claire Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland store in 1993 in response to the lack of women-friendly sex shops in Seattle. The store offers top quality products, a pleasant place to shop, and most of all information and encouragement to people who want to explore their sexuality. The Seattle store's popularity has led to three more stores in New York, plus a thriving and educational website.

We host workshops and events almost every week. Stop by for one of our Moms events, Art Walk nights, Babeland Brunch's or one of our many popular sex education classes.

Singles and couples of every gender and sexual orientation are invited to attend our workshops and events (18+ only).
